A Bitaxe is the smallest honest unit of Bitcoin mining: one open-source ASIC, mining solo, swinging for a full block with no pool and no custodian. It's a lottery ticket that draws every ten minutes — and it's yours, end to end.
We worked with CryptoCloaks to pull that board out of its plastic desktop case and set it into an axe — fan and OLED open in the head, "BITCOIN TIMBER" cut down the handle. It reads as a tool, not a toy. Plug it in and it mines; hang it up and it's a statement.
The axe isn't decoration for us. Bitcoin Timber is resurrecting a family sawmill on the Canje River in Guyana, run on the Bitcoin it mines — and the axe is the first thing that meets the wood. Putting a miner inside one is the whole thesis in your hand.
